Tarek Alayyashi

Tarek Alayyashi is Of Counsel in the Corporate department at Al Tamimi & Company, based in Dubai International Financial Centre, focusing on Corporate Law. He joined Al Tamimi in 2015.

Since joining the firm, Tarek has been involved in various transactions and has assisted in corporate due diligences, preparation of transaction documents for share acquisitions of corporate entities in UAE mainland, and advice on UAE corporate laws and regulations, including regulatory strategies, compliance structuring and restructuring. He has also counselled clients on company formation, including the establishment of branches and representative offices of foreign companies, limited liability companies and free zone entities.

His recent experience includes representing clients before various levels of Jordanian courts, including magistrate and first instance courts, in relation to various claims as well as preparing statements, petitions and evidence; drafting and reviewing constitutive documents and meeting materials for different types of companies; and drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, including lease contracts, agency contracts, memoranda of understanding, employment contracts and sales contracts, and management and service agreements.

Prior to joining Al Tamimi, Tarek had over two years of experience in litigation, corporate commercial, banking and insurance matters, having been an Associate at Baha’a Hikmat and Partners law firm.

He holds a Master’s in Private Law from Middle East University (2015) and a B.A in Law from the University of Jordan (2012). He qualified as a lawyer at the Jordanian Bar Association in 2012 and speaks Arabic and English.
