Stephen McKenna

Stephen McKenna is a Partner at Dentons in Abu Dhabi, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He has been working in the Middle East since 2009, advising on M&A, joint ventures, corporate structuring and restructuring, and local corporate regulatory issues across aviation, healthcare, and industry sectors.

Stephen's clients range from SMEs to blue chip companies, government‑related entities, and international corporations. Notable matters include advising the sellers on the disposal of Al Mansoori Petroleum Service, a landmark transaction in the Oil & Gas sector; advising Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) on the acquisition of Salma Children's Rehabilitation Hospital; advising Kingspan Group plc on its acquisition of Rigidal Industries and PAL Middle East; advising Egis Group on acquiring Waagner Biro Bridge Services; and advising Eradah Capital LLC on the launch of Zand Bank, the UAE's first independent digital bank. He also advises on market entry and foreign investment structures across the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

He holds a BCL (European) from University College Dublin (2003) and qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland (2008) and England and Wales (2010).
