Sharif Jamoos is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at Dentons in Dubai, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He has more than 10 years of experience advising on civil, commercial, and criminal disputes, as well as complex cross‑border fraud, asset recovery, insolvency, and restructuring matters across real estate, construction, shipping, finance, and insurance sectors.

Sharif has significant experience representing clients before local courts across the UAE and has in‑depth knowledge of legal systems in Egypt, Oman, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Notable matters include successfully defending international audit and consultancy firms against negligence claims, including securing dismissal of a claim exceeding US$2 billion; playing a leading role in a multi‑jurisdictional fraud investigation involving losses exceeding US$1 billion; advising on complex fraud investigations involving the misappropriation of more than US$5.5 billion; and leading an internal investigation for a government entity resulting in convictions for corruption‑related offences. He also advises on real estate disputes, commercial leasing, and property transactions.

Sharif holds an LL.B from An‑Najah National University (2014) and is qualified as a Legal Consultant with the Dubai Legal Affairs Department (2021) and holds a Civil Law Qualification from the Palestinian Bar Association (2019). He is bilingual and experienced in drafting and negotiating in Arabic and English.
