Hazel Shakur Quinn

Hazel Shakur Quinn is a Partner at Dentons and Head of Real Estate for the Middle East, based in Dubai, specializing in Real Estate Law. She leads an award-winning team on a wide range of real estate development and investment transactions across logistics, commercial, luxury residential, education, sports, and leisure sectors, with a particular specialism in complex real estate joint ventures.

Hazel advises leading sovereign wealth funds, family offices, technology companies, and major developers, and has led a number of "trophy asset" deals and "first-of-their-kind" transactions, including the UAE's first Green REIT. Notable matters include advising Masdar on the structuring and establishment of a multi‑million US$ Green REIT in the ADGM; advising a Dubai‑based private investor on the acquisition and financing of U‑Bora Tower, the largest single investment asset deal registered at the Dubai Land Department at the time; advising The Red Sea Development Company on its giga luxury real estate developments; advising Aldar Properties on the restructuring of master community declarations across 12 residential schemes; and advising corporate occupiers including Apple Inc. and Deliveroo on leasing negotiations.

She holds an LL.B and a Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction from the University of Dundee, and completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test in English Law at BPP University (2007). She qualified as a Solicitor of the Law Society of Scotland in 2002.
