Leopold Thanickal Jose

Leopold Thanickal Jose is a Senior Associate in the Dubai office, practicing in the firm's Real Estate Law and Dispute Resolution practice. He advises clients on real estate disputes, offshore related transactions, and incorporation of free zone entities, and routinely handles both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Mr. Jose has represented high-profile clients in arbitration proceedings at forums including ICC London and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre. He was part of the team advising the Government of one of the UAE Emirates on drafting real estate laws and setting up a data center, and also contributed to drafting the legal manual for the Dubai Airport Authority. He has recently advised a GCC ruling family on establishing a free zone LLC and obtaining a hotel administration office license in TECOM.

Leopold holds a Bachelor of Social Law and Bachelor of Law from the University of Pune and a Master's in International Marine Law from the University of Swansea, Wales. He is licensed by the Dubai Legal Affairs Department and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
