Gemma Gregory

Gemma Gregory is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at Dentons in Dubai, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She has more than eight years of experience advising on contentious matters, including finance litigation, general commercial disputes, arbitration, and regulatory investigations across England and Wales, the DIFC, ADGM, onshore UAE, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Gemma acts for financial institutions, corporates, and government entities on disputes involving fraud, insolvency, contractual claims, and enforcement actions. Notable matters include defending a UAE government entity in a US$17 million ICC arbitration for wrongful termination of a management agreement; acting for an international bank in enforcement of a US$75 million debt against a UAE‑based borrower; advising a UAE‑based healthcare company on a US$15 million breach of warranty claim arising from fraud; and acting for a major UK bank in its successful defense of a £100 million claim in the English High Court and Court of Appeal. She also completed a secondment at a UK high street bank, advising on claims relating to the alleged mis‑selling of interest rate hedging products.

She holds an LL.B Law from the University of Surrey (2013) and completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP University (2015). She qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2015.
