Daria Selivanova

Daria Selivanova is Counsel in the corporate team at Habib Al Mulla and Partners, based in the United Arab Emirates. Her practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, specifically cross-border corporate transactions.

Trained at a Magic Circle firm and dual-qualified (England and Wales, Russia), Daria has since worked in the largest US and UK law firms.

She has advised multinational public and private companies, and high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of complex and sensitive cross-border Corporate/M&A deals, particularly in commercial real estate, energy and natural resources, metals and mining, media and entertainment, and fintech sectors, including certain landmark transactions.

She has advised multiple international clients on UK, EU and US sanctions regulations. She also has experience representing clients in financing deals.

Daria's expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, demergers and divestments, private equity investments, corporate structuring and governance, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory matters, sanctions, banking and capital markets.

She holds a Specialist Degree in Jurisprudence from Lomonosov Moscow State University (2012), an LL.M. in International Banking and Finance Law from University College London (2019) and completed the Legal English Plus Course at the University of Cambridge, Girton College (2010). She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2021 and to the Russian bar in 2012. She speaks English and Russian.
