Muhammad Mustafa Khalid is a Senior Associate in the Corporate department at the DIFC office. He joined Al Tamimi & Company in 2022 and has over 7 years of experience advising on corporate matters. His primary practice area is Mergers and Acquisitions.

His experience covers M&A, corporate advisory, real estate projects, regulatory and licensing issues and structuring transactions, and he regularly advises clients on setting up employee share incentive schemes.

His recent experience includes advising TA Associates on its investment in AlephYa Education, Nord Anglia Education on its acquisitions of Swiss International School in Dubai and Amman Academy in Jordan, and GK-12 on its acquisition of the Emirates American School in Sharjah. He has also advised Dubai Cable Company on its acquisition of the assets of GIC Magnet Wire FZCO, the founders of the Skybridge Freight Solutions group on the sale of their majority interest to Asyad Logistics LLC, and Al Bannai Investment LLC on the sale of Element by Westin Al Jaddaf.

Other matters include advising Mercantime & Maritime on its acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of GTI Fujairah, which operates a bulk oil storage terminal in the Port of Fujairah, and advising ZO Skin Health on the acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of its primary distributor in the Middle East. He has also advised an Islamic Institute in the UAE on regulatory issues pertaining to assets worth over AED 100m under its management and control, and advised venture capital firms on investments in Pakistan and the UAE.

His insights on legal developments in the UAE have been published in the UAE Jurist. He holds an LLB from the University of Exeter (2016) and an LLM from the University of California, Berkeley (2017). He was admitted as an Advocate to the Punjab Bar Council, Pakistan in 2017 and speaks English and Urdu.
