Bassem Zein El Dine

Bassem Zein El Dine is a Partner in the firm's Corporate Law practice, based in the Dubai office. He is also Head of the MAZE Tower office. He has extensive knowledge of the penal process, labour matters, and registration of commercial agencies, and has established excellent professional relationships with various government departments throughout the UAE.

Mr. El Dine has vast experience in commercial fraud, trademark infringement, labour disputes, and the setting up of foreign and local companies in the UAE, including free zones and offshore companies. He regularly advises on and drafts shareholders agreements, memoranda of association, assignments of shares, capital increases, and changes to trade names and company directors. He has advised Egypt Kuwait Holding on various corporate matters, a global specialist in energy management on opening a new company in the region, and an American multinational conglomerate on a $63 million restructuring project.

He holds an LLB from the Arab University of Beirut (1991) and is a member of the International Bar Association.
