Anna White

Anna White is Of Counsel in the Real Estate practice at Al Tamimi & Company, based in Dubai International Financial Centre, focusing on Real Estate Law. She has experience practising real estate in the United Arab Emirates and Australia.

She advises on all aspects of real estate law, including drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, mixed-use development, jointly owned property, property disputes, and commercial and residential leases, and has a keen interest in advising on jointly owned property related matters.

Her recent experience includes advising local land owners across the UAE and Oman on their entry into hotel management agreements with international 4 and 5 star hotel operators, including drafting and negotiating hotel management and operation agreements, technical service agreements, brand licence agreements, off-plan sale and purchase agreements (including branded hotel residence apartments), and amendments to building management statements to comply with brand standard requirements.

She also advises real estate developers in Dubai on drafting sales documentation and jointly owned property governance documents for off-plan and branded projects; assists investors in purchasing and selling properties throughout the UAE, including negotiation, drafting sale and purchase agreements and attending closing before the real estate registration trustees; acts for commercial tenants on leasing of commercial premises; and conducts legal due diligence.

Anna has been recognised by Legal 500. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and is admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales, Western Australia and New Zealand. She speaks English.
