Rodrigo Carè

Rodrigo Carè is Senior Counsel in the Dubai office, practicing in the firm's Arbitration and Mediation practice. He has extensive and highly regarded expertise in international arbitration and offshore litigation, focusing on complex disputes across the oil & gas, construction, and financial services sectors, with particular experience in matters involving sovereigns or State-Owned Enterprises.

He conducts his own advocacy and appears as sole or lead advocate before the DIFC Courts (with full rights of audience) and arbitral tribunals worldwide under major institutional rules, including ICC, LCIA, DIAC, SIAC, and UNCITRAL. He also advises employers in high-stakes employment disputes before the DIFC and ADGM Courts, often involving allegations of fraud, embezzlement, or other misconduct, and advises on the structuring of executive employment agreements and compensation packages. He is a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre and serves as Chair of the Rome Branch of the New York State Bar Association.

He holds an LLM from Georgetown University Law Center and an MJur from Università degli Studi Roma Tre. He completed a secondment with Eni SpA and served as a Judicial Fellow to the Hon. Charles N. Brower. He is a Regional Representative of Young ICCA and a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators.
