Dr. Kamel Elshendidy

Dr. Kamel Elshendidy is a Partner and Head of the Egypt Office at Habib Al Mulla and Partners, focusing on Arbitration and Mediation. He focuses on commercial, financial, and tax disputes, with over 17 years of experience in the region.

He has successfully represented many international clients in litigation matters, as well as companies and high-net-worth individuals in local and cross-border disputes across the MENA region. He has handled numerous commercial and finance arbitration disputes under several jurisdictions, including Egypt, Libya, Kuwait, Iraq, UAE, and KSA.

His practical expertise extends to TMT, mergers and acquisitions, and tax litigation.

Kamel holds an LLB (2006) and an LLM (2010) from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, and a PhD in the Legal Aspects of Venture Capital Financing from Cairo University (2023). He is a registered Legal Consultant with the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department (2023) and a member of the Egyptian Bar (2007). He speaks English and Arabic.
