Nima Michael Moshggoo

Nima Michael Moshggoo is a Senior Associate at Al Tamimi & Company, based in Dubai International Financial Centre, focusing on Wills and Trusts. He has over 7 years of experience advising on general corporate matters in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

He has particular expertise in matters related to estate planning and trust structures, in particular wills-related matters for non-Muslim clients at DIFC. He also specialises in US immigration laws and regulations.

Prior to joining Al Tamimi, he worked for an immigration law firm in New York City for over 3 years, and before that for a general practice law firm in Dubai advising clients on corporate matters as a whole, as well as all aspects of DIFC Wills and Probate. He also assisted the firm in representing clients in arbitration and litigation matters before DIFC courts. Nima is a Will practitioner on the DIFC Wills Draftsmen Register.

His recent experience includes advising, drafting and registering Full Wills at the DIFC Wills and Probate Registry for German and Russian individuals, and a Mirror Full Will for an American couple, as well as advising on DIFC set-ups, transfer of incorporation, share transfers and general corporate structuring matters under UAE laws.

He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Montclair State University (2008). He was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 2013, the US District Court for the District of New Jersey in 2013, and the New York State Bar in 2021. He speaks English and Farsi (Persian).
