Jon Nash

Jon Nash is the Middle East Managing Partner and Head of the Middle East Energy, Transport and Infrastructure team at Dentons, specializing in Infrastructure Law. He has over 30 years of experience advising sponsors and lenders on the development of energy, natural resources, and other infrastructure projects in the MENA region.

Jon has extensive experience with I(W)PP developments and has advised on a number of award‑winning deals in the Middle East. He regularly advises on all manner of project documentation, including the drafting and negotiation of product supply, offtake, and tolling agreements, including power purchase agreements and water treatment agreements. He has advised on many "first of a kind" transactions, many of which have been awarded Deal of the Year status by leading industry and professional journals.

He holds an LL.B (Hons) and an LL.M (Hons) in International Law from the University of Nottingham, and completed his Law Society Finals at the College of Law, York. He is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Jon is recognised as an Eminent Practitioner in Construction by Chambers & Partners Global (2025, 2026) and as Highly Regarded in Projects: Energy by IFLR1000. He has also been consistently ranked as a leading lawyer in Projects and Energy by The Legal 500 and other international directories.
