Uzmah Shah

Uzmah Shah is an Associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice at Dentons, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She has nine years of experience working on contentious and non‑contentious matters as a paralegal in a global law firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 2023.

Uzmah has experience in arbitrations under UNCITRAL, ICC, DIAC, and ADCCAC rules, and has significant experience in complex construction projects, including assisting in large‑scale arbitrations, reviewing FIDIC, NEC, and JCT construction contracts, and advising on project issues. She also assists clients on a broad range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims, infringement of intellectual property rights, and enforcement of arbitral awards both locally and internationally.

She holds a B.A. in History from Brunel University (2010) and completed her Legal Practice Course and Graduate LL.B at the University of Law (2012). She qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2023.
