Hossam Elsafoury

Hossam Elsafoury is a Senior Associate at Habib Al Mulla and Partners, based in the United Arab Emirates. His practice focuses on Dispute Resolution, with diverse experience spanning a wide array of disputes, including real estate, construction and commercial matters, utilising both arbitration and litigation.

Hossam has established himself as a leading counsel in high-stakes construction disputes and international arbitration. He excels in strategic case management, consistently achieving successful outcomes in complex multi-billion-dirham claims while effectively addressing critical challenges such as concurrent delay claims, variation claims, and employers' rights to impose liquidated damages. His 90% success rate in proceedings has resulted in a substantial 75% reduction in client liability.

In collaboration with the Arbitration Department, Hossam provides expert guidance on intricate cases governed by leading institutional arbitration rules, particularly under DIAC and ADCCAC, in both Arabic and English. He was admitted as a Legal Consultant by The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department in 2020, is a member of the Egyptian Bar (2012) and has been a member of the Union of Arab Lawyers since 2013.
