Areen Jayousi

Areen Jayousi is a Senior Partner in the firm's Arbitration and Mediation practice, based in the United Arab Emirates. He is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with over 18 years of experience advising on complex commercial disputes across the UAE, specializing in UAE law litigation and arbitration.

He regularly advises international law firms and multinational clients on high-value contentious matters involving civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency, and financial crime. He is a listed arbitrator with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre, the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, and the International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration. He is consistently ranked Band 1 by Chambers and recognized as a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500.

He holds an LLM from SOAS, University of London (2008) and an LLB in Law and Arabic from SOAS, University of London (2006). He is admitted as a Legal Consultant with the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department and is fluent in English and Arabic.
