Qais Abdulwahed

Qais Abdulwahed is a Senior Advocate in the Dispute Resolution department at Al Tamimi & Company in Sharjah, UAE. His practice focuses on Dispute Resolution, including complex litigation and arbitration matters.

With a career spanning over four decades, Qais brings extensive experience in legal practice, strategic dispute resolution and public service. In his current role, he actively represents clients in complex litigation and arbitration matters, developing and implementing comprehensive dispute strategies to achieve favourable outcomes.

His recent experience includes acting for an automobile company in the UAE in an AED 1.2 million claim relating to stolen cars, and acting for a family holding company in a shareholders dispute worth AED 15 million. He has also served as Legal & Public Relations Manager of a multinational company, reviewing and managing legal matters and contracts across HR, sales and marketing, and has been a member of the Industry Committee of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He holds a Master's Degree in Law from City University College of Ajman, a Bachelor of Law from City University College of Ajman, and completed training at the Institute of Training & Judicial Studies, Ministry of Justice. He was admitted to the UAE Bar Association in 2021 and speaks Arabic, English and Urdu.
