Nasser Yahia

Nasser Yahia is a Legal Director in the Litigation practice, focusing on Civil Litigation. He received a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Law Degree from Cairo University and has been a member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 2006.

Nasser has a total of 14 years of experience, including 5 years in Egypt and 9 years in the UAE, in litigation mainly advising on matters related to Commercial Law, Civil Law, Islamic Finance Banking, Criminal Law and Real Estate Law.

He has extensive experience in Islamic finance and real estate finance, having advised and acted for prominent Islamic finance companies within the UAE, and specialises in banking disputes. He has handled numerous litigation disputes for the largest real estate companies in the UAE, with extensive knowledge of UAE real estate laws.

He has the ability to handle litigation matters and draft various pleadings, memoranda and applications with respect to civil, commercial, property, labour and criminal disputes before the competent courts in the UAE, including the Court of Cassation, and conducts legal research for various types of litigation cases in the UAE.

Nasser holds a Master of Law Degree (2008) and a Bachelor of Law Degree (2003) from Cairo University. He was admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association in 2006 and speaks Arabic and English.
