Mia Abu Ltaif

Mia Abu Ltaif is an Associate in the Private Client Services team at Al Tamimi & Company, with a primary focus on Wills and Trusts. She has worked on private client matters in a client-facing capacity for the last three years and specializes in UAE law for Muslims and non-Muslims.

Her experience includes the UAE litigation process and cross-border matters, particularly between the UAE and the UK. She drafts settlement agreements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, legal opinions, expert opinions for foreign courts, and Wills in the DIFC and Abu Dhabi Civil Family Court, and she establishes DIFC foundations for succession planning purposes.

She also has experience in the establishment and registration of companies with RAK ICC, bilingual drafting in English and Arabic for powers of attorney and Abu Dhabi Wills, and an understanding of the litigation process for private client matters in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

She holds an LLM from the London School of Economics (2022) and an LLB from the University of Sussex (2021). She is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales, registered as a legal consultant in Dubai, a certified DIFC Wills Draftsman, and is preparing to qualify as a UAE advocate with the Dubai Legal Affairs Department. She speaks English and Arabic.
