Leith Al-Ali

Leith Al-Ali is Of Counsel in the firm's Construction Law and Infrastructure practice, based in the Abu Dhabi office. He is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and has practiced in civil law, common law, and Sharia law jurisdictions across the UK and the Middle East.

He has drafted and negotiated standard suites of construction contracts for leading UK and UAE commercial property developers, advised on pre-construction services agreements, consultant agreements, framework agreements, collateral warranties, performance bonds, and parent company guarantees. He has also advised on a multi-million pound construction adjudication claim relating to a prominent property in central London, procurement of construction works for a new high-rise development in Dubai, and defects at a UK commercial development for a renowned UK pension fund.

Leith holds an LLB from Newcastle University (2008) and completed the LPC at BPP Law School (2009). He was admitted as a Solicitor of England & Wales in 2015.
