Lawyer Profile
Jennifer Davis is a Senior Associate in the Energy, Infrastructure and Projects practice at Dentons in Abu Dhabi. She has more than seven years of experience working on contentious and non-contentious project matters, advising clients on high-value complex projects across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the UK. Her practice spans renewable and low-carbon energy (including new nuclear, offshore and onshore wind, solar and battery storage, and biomass projects), highways and transportation, and commercial and real estate development.
She advises on major projects throughout the project lifecycle, including project structure, procurement strategy, contract strategy, operation and maintenance, and dispute avoidance. She has particular experience in drafting and negotiating complex EPC, O&M, and supply agreements, as well as traditional construction and design-and-build procurements, with detailed knowledge of FIDIC, NEC3/4, JCT, and IChemE suites of contracts.
Prior to joining Dentons, she spent three years as a Projects and Construction specialist at an international firm in the UK, including secondments to a European offshore wind contractor, a global renewables developer, and a major UK building contractor. She also spent two years in-house at a global energy company, advising on a first-in-a-generation new nuclear project. She trained at a Tier 1 UK firm and qualified into its Construction & Engineering team in 2018.
She holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Warwick (2013) and completed the LPC at the University of Law (2015). She is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
